Datenjournalismus in kleinen Redaktionen — so geht’s

Fellowships

Deadline to apply for the GIJC17 fellowship was May 15, 2017, 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5). Applications are now closed. Winners will be notified via email by August 1, 2017. The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC) is the premier international gathering of investigative and data journalists, held once every two years. This year, the 10th conference will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from November 16 to 19, and is being co-hosted by the Global Investigative Journalism Network and the Wits University Journalism Programme.

Program GIJC17

Welcome to GIJC17! Get ready for an extraordinary event. This is our 10th global conference and our first time on African soil, and we expect nearly 1200 journalists from 130 countries. Below you’ll find over 150 panels, workshops, and special events, packed with top investigative reporters ready to share their skills and secrets. Be sure to use Sched, the online app, to build your own schedule and follow conference updates. A couple notes to help you get the most out of #GIJC17: The conference is sold out, so the smaller labs and classrooms will fill up quickly. If you want to ensure you can attend a smaller session, get there early!
